The Empty Space is Setting Theatre Free for the community of Bakersfield. We provide quality live theatre and create opportunities for local actors, directors and technicians to work in a creatively stimulating environment. We have no paid positions at The Empty Space. Our theatre depends solely on the commitment and passion of our volunteers.
We are looking for people who believe in the importance of art and a space that promotes freedom of creative expression. By enrolling as a member you contribute to the success of an organization that is committed to bringing free theatre to anyone of the Bakersfield community, regardless of their financial situation.
