Ty Halton (Lincoln) is excited to return to The Empty Space for this produciton of Topdog/Underdog. Recent favorites include Tommy Boatwright in The Normal Heart, Andy Paris/Others in The Laramie Project, Bobby in Memphis, and Caleb in The Spitfire Grill. He extends his love and thanks to Michael and Liz for their leadership during this process, and to Nas for being such a giving scene partner.

Nasiyr Johnson (Booth) is thrilled to return to The Empty Space for his second production, Topdog/Underdog. He’d like to thank Michael, Liz, as well as his fellow cast Ty, and TES crew for such an enjoyable experience.

Liz B Williams (Stage Manager) is happy to be back at The Space, this time in a new capacity! She is Assistant Artistic Director and Marketing Coordinator at The Ovation Theatre. Some favorite on stage credits include: Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors and April in Company (TES), J. Pierrepont Finch in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Jennyanydots in Cats, and Nefertari in The Prince of Egypt (Ovation). Liz has expanded her skill set to tech and stage management, and recently made her directing debut with Fiddler on the Roof at the Ovation.

Many thanks to Michael for this opportunity to help tell Black stories, to Ty and Nasyir for a seamless process, and to this theatre community for providing a space for people like me to do what we love. Thank you, Chad, for your endless support and love.
