The Empty Space

Do have a personal story about the influence a woman has had on you? Your mother? Sister? Grandmother? Aunt? Even a stranger? HERSTORY will feature true stories by everyday people telling the effect a woman has had on their life and will coincide with the February presentation of The Vagina Monologues.

All submissions need to meet the following guidelines:

* Submission must be based on true and personal events.
* Everyone who submits and is accepted is required to share his/her submission on stage at the late night performance of HERSTORY, Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11pm.
* Submissions must be no longer than 5 minutes in length. About 2-3 pages long.

Although this performance will follow the main stage production of The Vagina Monologues this event is not limited to just women. Men are welcome to submit and perform their stories as well.

The deadline for submission is midnight, Saturday, February 4, 2012.
