Youth Programs

The concept of "Setting Theatre Free" includes enriching the theatre experience for Empty Space patrons of all ages.

Through our Tonicism and youth theatre workshops, we introduce young people to the magic of theatre, teach about the productions on our stage and nurture the artists and performers of today and tomorrow.

Our youth art workshops provide an opportunity for young artists to get together and work as a team to create and learn art. In this program, students learn the basics of bringing their ideas to life and successfully creating an art show.

What makes our programs unique is our connection to some of the best teachers and performers working in Kern County. We provide direct access to experienced directors, actors, performers, artists and designers. Participants in our classes, workshops, and special events gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the arts.
